Thursday, May 9, 2024 is the Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord, and a Holy Day of Obligation in this diocese.
A Low Mass will be offered at 12 noon, and a Solemn Mass at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, June 11th, 2023, Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish will have the joy of a visit by Msgr. Gilles Wach, Founder and Prior General of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. A Solemn Mass will be offered by Monsignor at 11 a.m., followed by a reception in the school gym. Please make plans to attend this wonderful opportunity to meet Msgr. Gilles Wach.
The Pittsburgh Marathon will disrupt traffic all over the city on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Although the race course does not come near our parish's location on California Ave., it surely will block the routes that some people normally take to church. The footrace begins at 7 a.m., but road closures begin earlier.
