Each year before the feast of the Sacred Heart, the Sister Adorers spend three days in a small retreat. While keeping their normal charges in the house, the days are spent in greater silence with increased time for prayer and reflection. 

This is used as a general review of the months that have passed since their last retreat, and it has a special focus on thanksgiving, humility, and confidence in God's grace.
