Upcoming Ordinations

Latin Ordinations

At the beginning of July, the week of Ordinations in Florence, Italy, will bring many graces to the worldwide spiritual family of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest.

On the Feast of the Most Precious Blood, July 1, sixteen seminarians will receive the cassock upon completing their first year of formation. The next day, these same sixteen seminarians will receive the clerical tonsure, while about forty others will receive the various Minor Orders of Porter, Lector, Exorcist, and Acolyte. His Excellency, the Most Reverend Matthew Madega, Bishop of Mouila, Gabon, will preside at this ceremony and offer the Holy Mass. On July 3 ten men will be ordained to the diaconate and eleven others to the subdiaconate by His Excellency, the Most Reverend Guido Pozzo, Almoner of the Office of Papal Charities.

Finally, His Eminence, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, will ordain five men to the holy priesthood on July 4.

Traditional Ordinations

Please keep all of these 75 seminarians in your prayers as they prepare for this upcoming week of Ordinations. May the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus reward you for your generosity toward His future priests!
