March for Life West Coast 2014

In memory of the more than 50 million babies killed by abortion in the United States since Roe v. Wade, more than 60,000 people joined the 10th annual Walk for Life West Coast, marching down Market Street in the heart of San Francisco, a city well-known for its flouting of morality.  On January 25th, members associated with the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest joined the Walk and worked to help end abortion, with Canon Olivier Meney and Abbé Kevin Kerscher at the lead. The event started at the Civic Center with stirring speeches from many pro-life dignitaries, including Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone. During the Walk, Institute members prayed fifteen decades of the Rosary as they peacefully walked and gave joyful witness for life.  The presence of the Spirit of God overshadowed the whole March, which ended at Justin Herman Plaza on the Embarcadero, near the historic Ferry Building.
