New Gregorian Chant CD: "Passio Domini"

Passio Domini: A Melodic Reflection on the Passion of Our Lord

Chant CD

This new CD Passion Domini was recorded by the seminarians of the Institute of Christ the King in an Italian country church very near to the Institute's International Seminary of St. Philip Neri. These young voices, the vast majority of whom are under thirty years of age, are formed to chant the timeless contemplative melodies of the traditional Roman Liturgy in the spirit of the great Chant masters of Solesmes. They devote hours of guided exercise in the fine technique of Chant under the direction of Seminary Choirmaster, Reverend Canon Wulfran Lebocq.

Gregorian Chant CD

This new CD includes chant recordings which are very rare to find such as the Mass of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ (Feast day July 1), the Votive Mass of the Passion of Our Lord, as well as the Kyriales V and XV. The CD can be purchased through our secure online store or by calling our American provincial headquarters at (773) 363-7409.

Other Chant CDs produced by the seminarians of the Institute and by the Sisters Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus include the album Gregorian Chant made in 2007 and the album Communion of Saints recorded in 2010.
