Altar Cross Bent from Heat of Fire

Sunday, October 11, 2015 - Canon Michael Stein of the Shrine of Christ the King shows the faithful the High Altar Cross that was retrieved from the fire. The roof fell in all around the Altar. The extreme heat of the fire bent the metal cross, but the 300+-year-old wooden statue of the Infant King, which stood just above it, was only singed by the fire. The Blessed Sacrament and all contents of the tabernacle were completely intact and untouched by the fire.
