Beginning Latin Class to Start September 17

You are invited to sign up for an introductory Latin course that will run from September 17 to November 5. No prior knowledge of Latin is required. The class is offered on a non-credit basis in the Community Education program of CCAC, at the Northside campus, and will meet on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Fellow parishioner Charlie Blume (Ph.D. classics) will teach the course. Go to shopcommunityed.ccac.edu/Courses/Languages/Latin_1.aspx to register and learn more about the class.

  • October 1 – 3 — St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus Novena
    Join Canon Matthew Weaver in honoring St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus with a triduum in preparation for her feastday. Holy Mass will be offered at 7 p.m. followed by devotions, from Tuesday, October 1st to Thursday, October 3rd. On these days there will be no noon Mass.

Beginning with the imposition of the stole by Bishop David Zubik at the entrance to the church, Canon William Avis was formally installed as the first pastor of Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish on Sunday, August 4, 2019.
