Long-time members of the “Latin Mass Group” fondly remember Father Reginald DeFour CSSp, one of the eight priests who offered Mass for us at St. Agnes Church in Oakland. Beginning there in October 1992, Father DeFour continued with us at St. Boniface until 1997, at which time he was reassigned to his native Trinidad. Back in his homeland, Fr. DeFour taught for many years at St Mary’s College and Fatima College, where he built a computer lab and introduced Computer Science into the college.
Father DeFour died in San Diego, California on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 at age 87.
