Sacred Vestments Workshop in Pittsburgh

On December 2 and 3, Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish, an apostolate of the Institute of Christ the King, was pleased to host a Sacred Vestment workshop directed by Mrs. Susan-Jayne Caballero of Sacra Indumenta.
Over the course of two days, over 50 participants from all around the country, some as far away as Louisiana, had the opportunity to learn from a professional ecclesiastical tailor the ins-and-outs of crafting beautiful vestments for the liturgy.
Two beautiful silk vestments, one gold and one white, are now part of our apostolate's patrimony!
The parish has resolved to form a parochial guild, Saint Veronica Altar Guild, to continue providing exquisite vestments for the liturgy and foster the science of ecclesiatical tailoring among our dedicated parishioners.
