St. Francis de Sales Oratory is pleased to announce the purchase of a major pipe organ by master builder Karl Wilhelm. The new instrument more than doubles the size of the existing organ, which was never adequate to fill the immense “Cathedral of South St. Louis.” At last St. Francis de Sales will house an organ worthy of its solemn liturgy and soaring Gothic Revival structure.
On Sunday, May 12, 2019, the faithful of St. Francis de Sales Oratory in St. Louis gathered to celebrate the First Holy Communions of 17 children at the 10:00am Solemn High Mass.
The first weekend of May brought glorious sounds of Gregorian Chant to the Oratory of St. Francis de Sales in St. Louis, Missouri.
