Over a decade ago, the Institute of Christ the King began the restoration of the historical church of St. Stanislaus on the south side of Milwaukee. Filled with a grand vision, tremendous faith, and undaunted enthusiasm, Canon Benoit Jayr and Abbe George Baird have led the dedicated and generous faithful of the Institute's Milwaukee apostolate (whose number grows with each passing week) not only in restoring this magnificent church to its former splendor, but moreover in restoring parish life as the true center of activity, friendship, and joy for hundreds of souls.
Recognizing the many fruits of this monumental investment in faith (both in the buildings and in the souls) over the course of these past ten years as well as the buoyant disposition of the Institute clergy who have persevered in charity to make it possible, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee has wished to transfer the deed for the entire St. Stanislaus campus to the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest.

Humbly grateful for this tremendous gift, we filially thank Archbishop Jerome Listecki for honoring our young Institute by entrusting us with this responsibility to care for this house of God in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. May we continue to persevere with a supernatural outlook on everything that we do for the greater glory of God, for only that which is done for love of Him will last in eternity!
