The St. Philip Neri Seminary Society was established in an effort to obtain spiritual and monetary support for the seminarians studying with the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. The Society has developed two programs with these goals in mind: the Spiritual adoption program and the monetary Benefactor program.
The Spiritual adoption program works to obtain prayers and spiritual alms for our Seminarians who are studying for the priesthood in Gricigliano, Italy. By providing the Society with your name, address and email (if you wish) we will assign a Seminarian to you. You will receive a “thank-you” letter with a picture of your adopted seminarian and a little bit about him. These young men need our support and be assured that these prayers are most important during this time of priestly formation.
The monetary Benefactor program is distinct from the spiritual adoption program and works to obtain funds to cover the cost of the American seminarians’ tuition. Despite their best fundraising efforts, some seminarians are unable to afford the yearly cost of tuition at the seminary.
No vocation should suffer due to monetary difficulties, which is why we look to generous benefactors to support our Priests of tomorrow. By filling out a pledge card you can choose to support a seminarian for one day or for an entire year. You will also have the option of a payment plan to make monthly, quarterly or annual payments. One time donations are also greatly appreciated.

Adopt a Seminarian in Four Steps!
The purpose of our Seminarian Society is to Obtain Prayers for Seminarians:

- You will receive a confirmation Thank-You letter which will include the name and picture of your adopted Seminarian and an informational flyer.
- Keep your Seminarian in your daily prayers.
~ The St Philip Neri Seminary Society will keep you up-dated on your Seminarian’s progress through our newsletter and personal updates.
- Keep in touch with your adopted Seminarian!
~ Spiritual benefactors are encouraged to assure their Seminarian of their constant prayers by letters or cards.
~ The St Philip Neri Society assigns a Seminarian to their Spiritual Benefactor
~ The confirmation letter will include an informational flyer, prayers for seminarians, the year of study of your seminarian, and the seminary address.
~ All of the Seminarians preparing with the Institute are part of the Spiritual Adoption Program.
~ You will be notified of upcoming ordinations to minor and major orders of the seminarians.
