Sunday, February 5 was a blessed day in Detroit, as His Grace the Most Reverend Allen H. Vigneron, Archbishop of Detroit, visited St. Joseph Oratory to install Reverend Canon Michael Stein as Pastor.

The Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest established St. Joseph Oratory in Detroit on October 7, 2016, at the invitation of His Excellency, the Most Reverend Allen Vigneron, Archbishop of Detroit.  The new Rector, Canon Michael Stein, along with Deacon Jonathan Fehrenbacher, moved to Detroit on October 11.

At the invitation of His Excellency, the Most Reverend Allen Vigneron, Archbishop of Detroit, the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest will establish a new Oratory at St. Joseph’s Church in Detroit.

The new Rector will be Canon Michael Stein, who will be assisted by Deacon Jonathan Fehrenbacher.
