First Holy Communion was received by 27 children at St. Stanislaus on Sunday May 4 at the 10 a.m. High Mass.
St. Stanislaus was honored to receive Reverend Canon Matthew Talarico, provincial superior of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest, who offered the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on this special occasion.
The innocence and happiness of these children brought joy to their families and congregation. May they always treasure the gift of the Sacred Eucharist and receive abundant graces through the reception of this great Sacrament.
“A thousand years of enjoying human glory is not worth even an hour spent sweetly communing with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.” – St. Pio of Pietrelcina
