You are invited to the 2018 Women’s Silent Retreat in California

The Institute of Christ the King Women’s Silent Retreat in California will take place from Friday, September 21 to Sunday, September 23, 2018.

Registration is open to women 18 years of age and older. In the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains near Soquel CA, the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows are delighted to welcome us to St. Clare’s Retreat center. We offer daily Mass, the Divine Office and Adoration as well as daily opportunities for spiritual direction and confession. All meals and some snacks are provided.

St. Clare’s retreat house is an ideal location which offers everything needed to prepare our souls for a rendezvous with God: the beauty of nature, the austerity of the premises, the silence, the solitude and the liturgy.

Such an environment helps to lift our hearts and minds up to God in order to to encounter Him.
