It is with gratitude that we share the news that Canon Henrique Fragelli, on November 21 received the new lungs he needed to continue his long and arduous recovery from Covid.

Bishop Brennan – now Bishop of Brooklyn, New York – returned to St. Leo Oratory,  the apostolate of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in Columbus, Ohio, to confer the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Traditional Rite for the youth of the Oratory for the first time.

On November 1st, feast of All Saints, the clerical tonsure as well as the minor orders of porter and lector, exorcist, and acolyte were conferred on more than 40 seminarians.

This fall the Sister Adorers of Wausau had the grace of taking a day trip to the Upper Peninsula....  

On Sunday, October 24, Archbishop Jerome Listecki confirmed over 70 children and young adults at St. Stanislaus Oratory in Milwaukee.

On September 29, the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel, four new Sister Adorers received the habit and the white veil of novices at their house of formation in Naples, Italy, from the hands of His Eminence Cardinal Pell. 

 

 

From October 4 to 7, the Institute's canons from all over the American province reunited in Detroit for several days of fraternity, recreation, and liturgies.

From October 23 to October 31, the Institute of Christ the King invites everyone to join in a special spiritual opportunity.  

Canon Fragelli continues his slow but encouraging rehabilitation.

Thanks to the great generosity and enthusiasm from our friends and benefactors from around the United States, the first part of Phase II restoration began in late August at the Shrine. This work involved excavation and grading of the interior floor, as well as installation of electrical conduits and plumbing.

The annual retreat for the Institute's oblates took place from September 20th to the 24th at the National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe in Marytown, Illinois.
