Over five hundred faithful and friends of the Institute participated in a pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians at the Basilica of Holy Hill near Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 28.
On January 29, feast of Saint Francis de Sales, Institute superiors, canons, and seminarians, as well as the Sisters Adorers of the Royal Heart of Jesus, made a pilgrimage to Treviso, Italy, where the heart of Saint Francis de Sales is enshrined and venerated in a beautiful side altar of the convent church of the Visitation Sisters.
The month of November is a busy time at the International Seminary in Gricigliano.
On December 8, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest organized for the third consecutive year a candlelight procession in honor of Mary Immaculate through the very heart of Rome.
In late August, members of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest entered the five day, annual Chapter by adoring the Blessed Sacrament, and emerged from it spiritually strengthened by the renewal of their consecration to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the offering of the votive Mass in His honor on the first Friday of September.
Working alongside the adult men, the boys helped prepare the camp site, and watched as the tractor evened out the ground.
The week of summer camp opened with a beautiful ceremony in which the camp was consecrated to the Blessed Mother. The Institute's devotion to the Blessed Mother and her maternal guardianship over us were represented by a candle which stayed lit for the duration of the camp.
