July 1, 2024, the Feast of the Precious Blood of Jesus, marked the fifth anniversary of the establishment of our parish in 2019 by Bishop David Zubik. A Solemn High Mass that evening was followed by a festive reception. Canon Avis was assisted by Father Adam Potter as deacon, and Father Michael Faix as subdeacon. Also in attendance was Father John Kist, recently ordained for the Diocese of Pittsburgh, who gave his first blessing to those at the reception.
