UPDATE: Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish will offer a Solemn Requiem Mass for Father James Dolan on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 9:30 a.m..
Father James W. Dolan died at his home on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at age 73. Father Dolan served the Latin Mass Community at St. Boniface Church in Pittsburgh as its fourth chaplain, and as founding pastor of St. John XXIII Quasi-parish from 2012 to 2018. He continued to assist at Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish after his retirement.
Visitation will be at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham Street, Butler, PA from 4 – 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 11 and at St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road in Meridian, from 10 a.m. – noon on Friday, May 12, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Bishop David A. Zubik to officiate. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in McMurray, PA.
