Sign up for Sunday Masses - UPDATED

UPDATE June 16:

For Sunday, June 21, seating restrictions will be reconfigured in the church. Although pews will still be blocked off for the sake of "social distancing", the previous configuration provided far less than the very restrictive 25% of capacity currently permitted under the Bishop's reopening guide.  With this rearrangement, additional seating is available, and reservations for Mass will no longer include pew assignments. Seating will be under the direction and at the discretion of the ushers, who will ensure the Bishop's guidelines are being followed.

As of noon on Thursday, June 18, the signup form has been removed, since the deadline for signing up was 8 PM Wednesday.

Emails and phone calls will go out later in the week (Thursday - Saturday), specifying the Mass for which you have a reservation. It is hoped that most, if not all, people will be able to attend this Sunday. Please note that demand is highest for the 8 and 11 AM Masses, and those who have said they can only attend at one of those two times are still at risk of not getting seats

If you need to modify your reservation (Mass time or size of your group), please phone the parish office before 2 PM Friday. Emails will be sent out either Thursday or Friday for June 21 Masses. Note that the email will come from "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.". If you don't receive your email by midday Friday, please SEND an email to "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." with the name and phone number you entered on the form. (End update)

We are overjoyed that we will be able to resume public Masses. Here is information on that process.

There are restrictions on the number of persons in the church building during a Mass. Bishop Zubik has set that number, from June 1st for the daily Mass at 25 persons. Beginning with the Sunday Masses and the daily Masses after June 7th, the number of persons will be 25% capacity while “respecting social distancing of six feet.” Six-foot distancing means that we can only use every third pew for a total of 31 pews. Since members of the same household/family do not need to “social distance” from each other, we will be able to accommodate more than if everyone must be six feet away from everyone else. That also makes it difficult to say a definite number of persons per a Mass.

With these restrictions, not everyone will be able to get in at a Sunday Mass. For this reason, the Bishop continues to suspend the Sunday obligation. However, beginning June 8th, the weekday attendance limit will be the same as Sundays, and more people will be able to go to Mass on weekdays. Since it is unlikely that we would max out on a given weekday Mass, there will be no need to takes reservations for those. Of course, we should continue to pray that the restrictions be lifted soon.

Please keep in mind, if we are "overbooked" on any Sunday, that you can attend Mass at either 5 or 7 PM any weekday, or one of the two Saturday morning Masses without a reservation.
