A High Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 1, 2024, the Octave of the Nativity. The Veni Creator (the hymn to the Holy Ghost) will be sung before Mass to invoke God’s protection and guidance in the new year. The faithful may gain a plenary indulgence under the usual conditions by assisting at the Veni Creator.
Because January 1st falls on a Monday, the obligation to attend Mass that day is not in effect for 2024. This is particular law in the United States, as decreed by the Conference of Bishops.

Join us for an Advent tradition! On Thursday, December 14th, there will be a Rorate Mass at 6 a.m. It is called “Rorate” from the opening words of the Introit from the Mass of Our Lady in Advent, and is celebrated before day-break with the church illuminated only by candlelight. For those wishing additional light in order to follow with a missal, please bring your own candle.
