Breaking News: St. Stanislaus Campus is Expanding!

2024 04 newbuilding

St. Stanislaus Parish and Oratory is planning the acquisition of two buildings located across from the church on 5th and Historic Mitchell Street.  Thanks to a gift from an anonymous benefactor, we are able to purchase the property immediately.  The goal of our next tow annual Fundraising dinners (2024 and 2025) will be to pay for all the renovations to make this a beautiful and safe place for the needs of parish and oratory activities, providing meeting rooms and classrooms for catechism students.  The property will also provide additional parking spaces.

Despite the age of the buildings, their structural integrity remains intact due to robust 1980s construction.  Plans for renovation, led by an architectural firm, will respect historic district guidelines, including exterior restoration and interior overhaul   Efforts will include paint removal from Cream City brick, tuckpointing, parapet and roofing system restoration, and updates to windows and facades to reflect historical aesthetics.  The interior will be gutted for modern electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, while ensuring the removal of hazardous materials and enhancing security with alarms and safety glass.  This comprehensive restoration, preserving foundational and key structural elements, is anticipated to span 12-18 months.

St. Stanislaus is growing, and the acquisition of this property will help meet the needs of our continual growth.
