At the beginning of July, the Sister Adorers had the joy of participating in summer camps for young girls at the Sacred Heart Retreat Center in Burlington, Wisconsin. The girls assisted at daily Mass, prayed the rosary together, created several beautiful craft projects, played games, and formed and renewed many good friendships. Looking to American Saints as their models throughout the week, the girls learned “Jerusalem, My Happy Home,” a hymn written by Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, which they sang at the closing Mass of camp.
