Thanks be to God for the wonderful summer camps led by the Institute in both Wisconsin and California this past July! Over the weeks, boys and girls of all ages came together to grow in faith with fun. Hear some of what they and others had to say about their times at camp.

St. Theresa Camp for Young Girls

“My 11-year-old daughter attended Camp St. Therese this year. She was a little apprehensive because she had attended camp last year with an older sister but she was attending it alone this time. She came back from camp so happy and not wanting to leave. She loves making friends there and has had a pen pal from another state that she writes to several times throughout the year that she got to meet up with. I'm so grateful for the friendships she is able to form from camp.” - From a mother of a daughter who attended camp.

Immaculate Conception Camp for Young Ladies

“The Institute Summer Camps embody the spirit of ICKSP in a beautiful and tangible way. Watching young women joyfully commit themselves to the endeavors of camp life - be it Holy Mass, chant with the Sister Adorers, lively games, or joyful campfires, I was moved to see firsthand what St. Irenaeus calls the ‘glory of God’ - man, fully alive. The entire week was an experience of Our Lord and His goodness in adoration, the holy rosary, and encounters with young women who love Christ and His Church. I am so grateful for my first encounter of the Institute Summer Camps as a volunteer, as I was able to witness over one hundred high school ladies who desire holiness and deeper union with Our Lord, through Our Lady. What a blessing and privilege!” – Anna, first time camp volunteer and counselor

“What impressed me most as a first-time camper was all the spiritual talks, daily Mass, opportunities for confessions and getting to know the Sister Adorers. I also enjoyed getting to know other girls from camp and making new friends. It was a wonderful experience, thank you!” – First-time camper

St. Dominic Savio Camp for Young Boys

“The most meaningful part of camp for my sons was the religious aspect (Mass, rosary walks, etc.) and the great examples of priests and seminarians. My sons really enjoyed praying the rosary with other boys while carrying flags, and spending time with other boys who share their faith, watching the plays, and joining in on battles and strategy games. The canons, seminarians, and volunteers were excellent role models for them!” – Parent of one of the campers

St. Michael Camp for Young Men

“Camp was a fun time to grow, make new friends, and just get away from screens and other things this world can pull you into. It was super fun and I would recommend it to every boy!” - Marcelino, first time camper“My son came home excited about daily Mass and dedicated/structured prayer time. Secondary were the one-on-one connections he made. Because of camp, he is interested in learning French now. Last year and this year when he came home, he is more aware and considerate and is actively interested in discerning the priesthood.” – Father of son who attended this summer’s camp

“This was our second year attending the St. Michael’s Patrol camping trip, and once again, it was an amazing experience for both my son Kevin and me. As a father, one of the greatest blessings is being able to watch my son continue to grow in his Faith, while at the same time building strong friendships and creating memories that I know he will carry with him for many years. It has also been a wonderful experience for me personally, giving me the opportunity to connect and build relationships with other parents who share similar values and want the best for their children. There is something very special about spending time together outdoors, away from our normal routines, while strengthening our faith, friendships, and father-son relationship. Kevin and I truly look forward to this camping trip every year. We had an awesome time, and we are already talking about next year! Thank you to St. Michael’s Patrol and everyone who works so hard to make this experience possible. We feel blessed to be part of it and can’t wait to do it again!”
    — Ronald, Father of Father/Son duo who attended camp

"St. Michael's Patrol is the best Catholic summer camp for boys. This was my fifth time going and if you ask me what I want to do in the summer, I would say, 'I want to go to St. Michael's Patrol.' We begin each day with the Traditional Latin Mass, followed by a day filled with activities, games, and exercise. Some of the games include dodgeball, water wars, flag wars, and tug of war. Most importantly, every day begins and ends with prayer. If you are looking for an engaging summer program for boys, I highly recommend St. Michael's Patrol." — Dominic, age 11

"St. Michael's Patrol is a fun, active summer camp for boys, that features sports and games, Masses, and Rosary processions. The boys are divided into teams, and each team has a patron saint. Every team makes up a presentation on the life of their saint and performs a saint skit at the campfire. Your team also gets points depending on how well you do in the sports and games. On the last day you find out which team got the most points. I don't have a favorite part of camp because I like everything about it!" — Damien, age 10
