Since the establishment of our parish at its new home, volunteers have invested hundreds of hours of labor in sprucing up the grounds, the priory, the school building, and the church. On Thursday, May 30, 2019, Msgr. Gilles Wach made his first visit to Pittsburgh for the Feast of the Ascension. The Solemn Mass that evening was celebrated at Risen Lord Church, the future home of Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish.

Beginning with the imposition of the stole by Bishop David Zubik at the entrance to the church, Canon William Avis was formally installed as the first pastor of Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish on Sunday, August 4, 2019.

After 25 years at St. Boniface Church on East Street, the end of June 2019 saw the Latin Mass in the Diocese of Pittsburgh move to a new, permanent home.
