I have attended the Institute of Christ the King girls camp for six years, this year being my first as a counselor! These camps have always meant a lot to me and I wanted to give back to them by helping out as a counselor.
The Company of the Immaculate group for girls and young ladies had a joyous and fruitful reunion with the Sister Adorers last month, with fifty girls coming for the occasion!
Since late August, the second phase of work has begun in earnest and continued non-stop. The floor was excavated and graded, and brought to the proper height in order to prepare for the installation of the over 3,500 feet of electrical conduit that was run.
On Sunday, October 31, the Feast of Christ the King, His Grace Archbishop Allen Vigneron conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Extraordinary Form to eighteen youth and adult converts at St. Joseph Shrine in Detroit.
