Registration for the Catechism program for the 2023-24 school year will take place on August 6 and 13 in the rear of the church, between the two Sunday Masses (9:10 to 11:00 a.m.). Classes begin on Sunday, September 10.

The Little Sisters of the Poor and their volunteers will be with us after each Mass on April 30, 2023 to collect for their mission. Your contributions enable them to continue the work of their foundress, Saint Jeanne Jugan, in caring for the elderly poor at their home on Benton Avenue in Brighton Heights (only four minutes from our parish). They are counting on your continued support. Donations may also be made online at www.littlesistersofthepoor.org. If you or anyone you know is looking for a new job opportunity, the Little Sisters of the Poor have several positions open including CNAs and RNs. If you are interested in making a difference, please contact their Human Resources office at 412-307-1131.

Thanks to a gracious volunteer, Mr. Mark Graham, Summer Donuts & Coffee has returned after the Sunday 8:00 AM Low Mass in the school, Room 101. This program will be offered every Sunday with the exception of Father’s Day and run through August 27th. This is a terrific opportunity to meet and visit with fellow parishioners, many of whom travel a significant distance to attend the Traditional Mass. Please consider stopping in to visit!

The Pittsburgh Marathon will disrupt traffic all over the city on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Although the race course does not come near our parish's location on California Ave., it surely will block the routes that some people normally take to church. The footrace begins at 7 a.m., but road closures begin earlier.

Here is a map of the marathon course.
